Treatment Options

Fat Dissolving Injections

Fat dissolving injections will permanently destroy the fat that accumulates under the chin. This fat is often genetic and may not be able to be removed by diet or exercise.

This is a two part procedure spaced 6-8 weeks apart resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing neck and a jawline that appears much more defined. There is no better non-surgical option to achieve this level of improvement.

This procedure is performed by our cosmetic nurse practitioner Jane Jiang who has over 10 years of aesthetic injection and surgery experience, focusing on her passion for results driven cosmetic treatments which enhance not only her patient’s outer beauty but also boost their sense of self-esteem and confidence.

FAQs

Does Treatment Hurt?

This is a common concern for most of our patients.

A small amount of local anaesthetic will be added to the fat dissolving medication. some pain may be experienced during administration however the procedure is quite quick. After treatment pain and swelling is to be expected and may take up to a week to settle.

Can I Avoid Bruising and Swelling?

The best way to minimise bruising is to limit the intake of any blood thinning medications (such as aspirin, warfarin, or any type of anti-inflammatories) as well as over-the-counter blood thinners such as fish oils in the week prior to your treatment.

Swelling is to be expected with these treatments, however there are things you can do after procedure to minimise this such as cool compressing the area and sleeping face up with your head slightly elevated for the next few nights post treatment.

Our ‘no rush’ philosophy means we are able to take the time with each patient to be able to build strong relationships and provide as much care as needed.

*Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
