Stretch Marks

Stretch marks (striae) are a form of scarring on the skin that results from stretching of the dermis resulting in tearing of collagen and elastin fibers. Stretch marks often occur when the skin stretches due rapid growth or significant weight changes. Both men and women can suffer from stretch marks, but women are especially susceptible to stretch marks, particularly during pregnancy as a result of hormonal changes. Stretch marks usually appear as multiple red or purple lines and then fade to white/silver over time. Please note, results may vary from patient to patient.

Stretch marks vary in length and can be a few centimeters to a few inches long. They most commonly appear on:

  • Stomach
  • Breasts
  • Upper Arms
  • Thighs
  • Hips
  • Buttocks

Stretch marks can impact body confidence and the way people would like to dress. We offer effective treatment solutions for stretch marks using Infini micro-needling with radio frequency, Dermapen skin needling and Fotona laser for fractional resurfacing. Combining treatments with at home use of Environ vitamin A, C and E body oil ensures long-term results for our clients.
